COWS Food Drive a Success!
Children
of the
WoodlandsChance & Andre collect food donations

The Children of the Woodlands thanks everyone who participated in the 2004 Salvation Army Food Drive!

Residents of the Gulf Harbors Woodlands community left donations of food at the end of their driveways Saturday morning for pickup.

Photographed here are volunteers Chance, age 7, and Andre, age 6, who eagerly jumped out of the collection vehicle to pick up donations!

We are happy to report that this year's donations exceeded last year! Great job Woodlands!

We also remind our residents that a Toys for Tots collection box has been placed in the Woodlands' community clubhouse. Please pick up and donate an unopened, unwrapped gift to brighten the season for less fortunate children.

Thanks again!

Also, the Toys for Tots’ organization has placed a receptacle at the GHW clubhouse. So the next time you go to a store where toys are sold please pickup a little something to place in the box and make a child’s Christmas brighter.

Please call Chris or Beth Belloise at 858-8692 if you have any questions. Thank You!
Children
of the
WoodlandsEgg Hunt The Children of the Woodlands held its first annual Easter Egg Hunt at Woodlands’ Field this past Saturday, April 19th. The weather could not of cooperated any better than it did. The event was held under blue skies with perfect temperatures and a slight breeze. Any noon heat was eliminated by the gracious shade of the oak trees.

COW's Present Park Proposal
Children
of the
WoodlandsThe Children of the Woodlands organization presented to the Board of Directors a proposal to enhance a small section of the common area adjacent to the Recreational Facility parking lot, currently referred to as a drainage field, as a community park. This park will contain a children’s play structure and two benches. The benches would be placed in the shade of the oak trees on the Southeast corner of the field. The play structure would be placed a few feet out from the trees.
