 The Calusa Cruise Club

<br>Things<br> To DoThe Calusa Cruise Club held its annual Change of Watch Dinner and Installation Banquet at the Timber Greens Country Club on Saturday evening, March 23, 2013. New officers for the coming year were installed: Jack Hexter, Commodore, Karen Klapperich - Vice Commodore; Jim Turner - Rear Commodore; Lori Sherley - Secretary; and Pat Pfaff -Treasurer.

The new Board of Directors includes Ron Kiapperich, Vic Huebner, Herb Nelson and Past Commodore Dick Knorr.

The Calusa Cruise Club is a group of boating enthusiasts, founded in 1965. Club activities include day trips to local restaurants and the Anclote Key sandbar as well as overnight trips to Caladesi Island and various marinas between Homosassa and Sarasota. The club meets at 7:00 PM every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at the Gulf Harbors Civic Center. Guests are always welcome.
