I Want Your Story!

 Woodlands’ Historical Photos Wanted

WoodlandsAre you one of the original or long-time residents of the Woodlands? Do you remember when there were only a few homes completed in our wonderful community? Do you know any of the original residents who might have moved but still stay in touch with you? If so, we are looking to gather as many photos of our community as possible from way-back when so we can digitally scan them and preserve them in a new historical document for future community members.

Photos of work being completed on any of the homes, roads, clubhouse, pool, and Yacht Club would be great. We’d also like to preserve any of your boating and fishing photos from the early years too! Do you have a picture of your proud new 1978 cabin cruiser by your new dock and home? Send it! We will take excellent care of the photos during the scanning process and ensure your photos are returned to you with care. In return, we will also provide a CD ROM disc for you with the digital versions of your images absolutely free!

Please drop off your photos to the Woodlands' Office with your contact information and the story behind each of your photos. For example, “Here’s Jim Smith next to our 1980 Chris Craft Sport Cruiser, O’ Lucky Day, holding the first of many grouper he caught.” Make sure you give us addresses and approximate dates and don’t forget to let us know where to return your treasured photos!
