Archive: Halloween Photos Now Online
Children
of the
WoodlandsThe Children of the Woodlands 2003 Halloween Carnival was a monster smash! Lots of community ghouls came out and had a great time winning prizes and laughing with their friends and neighbors.

The second annual Children of the Woodlands' Halloween Carnival was a big success this year. About 75 children and adults enjoyed the festivities, games, prizes, and food. One of the most anticipated events for the night was the drawing for the fabulous prizes given away that night. And the winners are:

The lucky proze winners!
(Back L-R) Robert Woodland - Casio Palm Color TV, Cathe Rymshaw - Earnhardt Collector Set
(Front, L-R) Eric Harrington - Christmas Bear, Mark Hagen - Cordless Power Tool Set

The Children of the Woodlands would like to thank all of its volunteers who made this event possible and all of those that supported by donating toward the prize drawing. A big thanks goes out to Heather Smith who hauled all her expensive and heavy photography equipment here to take the wonderful portraits and some candid shots. She also created and painted the spooky portrait backdrop. We thank Heather for volunteering her time and giving parents a lasting image of the fun we had on Halloween night.

Our thanks also goes out to the volunteers not shown here that helped out immensely, including Sue Rochette, Jill Byrd, Peter & Robin Dedood, Denise & Seth Anderson, Gloria McClay, Mark Hagen, Eric Harrington, Elaine Nolen, and all the others who helped us make this such a fun event. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Many have asked us who finances the Children of the Woodlands events and have asked if the Association is funding any of it. All of the funding is through private donations and labor. There is no funding from the Association. However, we thank the Association for the use of the Community Clubhouse. The current full-time Children of the Woodlands Organizers are Tina Anfuso, Chris Belloise, and Beth Belloise. We plan our events and Community projects with input from many community members.

We are planning to start up regular meetings again to plan future events and community projects. If you would like to volunteer your time as an organizer, please contact us at children@gulfharborslife.com
